There will be multiple costume awards along the route. 7th Annual Montrose Crawl – Join in the costumed pub crawl making stops at 11 Montrose mainstays: Brasil, Poison Girl, Pistolero’s, Boondocks, Etro Lounge, Catbirds, Royal Oak, Slick Willie’s, El Real Tex-Mex, Mo Mong and Hay Merchant.Tickets are limited and none will be sold at the door, so plan ahead. The Annual Halloween Party– In its 16th year, the big Halloween bash at 2212 Woodhead street includes an open bar and music from DJ Danny B and DJ Lance Morris.Costumes are mandatory and 70s costumes will be celebrated. Discoween at Continental Club – It’s boogie oogie oogie time as the Disco Expressions take to the stage.Riders, many in costume, depart from Market Square Park around 7:15pm on a route that concludes at Liberty Station around 9pm for the Halloween after party, with drinks, tunes from DJ Ill-set and a costume contest. Critical Massacre Ride to Liberty Station – The monthly Houston Critical Mass bike ride takes a dark turn for this Halloween event.Cash prizes are promised for best costumes. Classic Numbers Halloween – DJ Wes Wallace spins for a Halloween rendition of Classic Numbers with music and video from the 80s mixed in with current Classic Numbers tracks.Costumes are encouraged. $15 for members. Music from Molly & the Ringwalds, DJ Gracie Chavez and DJ Dame Hype. Spirits & Skeletons Halloween Mixer at Houston Museum of Natural Science – Enjoy dancing, libations, magic and food truck goodies from HTown StrEATs, The Waffle Bus, Good Dog Hot Dog and Chi’Lantro.
